Bevis Nathan - The Autonomic Nervous System - 15/10/2012
Quite a weighty talk tonight from Bevis Nathan, really, really interesting but not the easiest to follow at times. The main thrust of the talk focused on the vagus nerve which above the diaphragm is myelinated and below the diaphragm is unmyelinated. I find talks like this fascinating. Not always relevant to day to day clinic practice but on a wider scale so interesting and wonderful to think about the wider scope of osteopathy.....what it can do, what it is capable of. The reason I come to Manus talks!!
